Maoists have killed two persons in Giru village falling under Gudri block of West Singhbhum district. 

The incident took place in the Maoist infested area last night.Two other persons were reportedly abducted by a group of Maoists.

“These Maoists had used traditional sharp edge weapons”( Kulhari), said the police. 

The motive of the crime is said to be linked with illegal sand mining and transportation. 

Both bodies of the deceased were sent for post-mortem.No arrest was made by police till going for publication of this news.
