Union Home Minister Amit Shah will honour the Officer - in - Charge of Nimiyaghat police station, Giridih district of Jharkhand. 

As per the schedule, Mr Shah will give Trophy to Nimiyaghat Police station Officer in Charge Rana Jangbahdur from Convention Centre, Lok Seva Bhawan, Bhuvneshwar on November 29.

Nimiyaghat police station has been listed as one of the three best police stations in the country. MHA annually ranks police stations in India. 

It ranks police stations based on a variety of parameters, including the number of offenses addressed at a police station. 

In 2024, the MHA selected this Nimiyaghat as well as 113-year-old Patapur police station in Odisha's Ganjam district. They has been selected as one of the three best police stations in the country in 2024.
