Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren distributed portfolios to the new ministers in his government on Friday, holding onto key departments, including Home (which also covers the prison system), Cabinet Secretariat, and others, as per a government notification.

Apart from Personnel & Administrative Reforms, Departments of Home( including Prison), Road construction, Building Construction, Parliamentary Affairs, Vigilance, Information and Public Relations, and all other Departments that were not under the jurisdiction of his Cabinet Ministers. 

On December 5, Chief Minister Hemant Soren expanded his Cabinet as per which 11 Ministers took oath inside the Raj Bhawan in Ranchi. 

The portfolios allocated to Ministers were as follows. 

1. Radha Krishna Kishor- Finance and Commercial Tax 

2. Chamra Linda- Welfare Department for Schedule Caste, Schedule Tribe, Minorities, and OBCs. 

3. Sanjay Prasad Yadav- Labour, Training and Skill Development. 

4. Ramdas Soren- School Education, Literacy and Registration. 

5. ⁠Irfan Ansari- Health, Medical Education and Family Welfare; Public Food Distribution; and Disaster Management. 

6. ⁠Hafizul Hassan- Water Resources & Minority Welfare 

7. ⁠Dipika Pandey Singh-Rural Development, Rural Works and Panchayati Raj 

8. ⁠Yogendra Prasad- Drinking Water and Sanitation 

9. ⁠Sudivya Kumar Sonu- Urban Development and Housing; Higher and Technical Education; Tourism and Culture 

10. ⁠ Shilpi Neha Tirkey-Agriculture, Animal Husbandry and Cooperative
