According to an official notice released by the higher department in Jharkhand, due to the intense cold wave in India, Schools will remain closed for students of Classes 1 to 5 till January 7, 2025.
The announcement for schools closed has been made on January 4. While the schools will remain closed up to Class 5, students from the remaining classes would be required to go to school as per their given timetable until further orders are issued.
"Amid winters, classes of students of grades 1st-5th will remain closed till January 7: Office of State Education Minister," stated a tweet by news agency ANI.
In Jharkhand, cold wind and fog have gushed all over the city resulting in a temperature drop. Since January 1, 2023, the eastern state has witnessed a sudden drop in temperature due to the cold wave.
