An important Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between The Art of Living (TAOL) and the National University of Study and Research in Law, Ranchi (NUSRL).
The MoU was made in the presence of Vice-Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Ashok R. Patil, who met Sri Sri Ravi Shankar in Bengaluru. The aim of this partnership is to integrate life skills, stress management, and emotional well-being into the field of education, in line with the objectives of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.
Mr. Rajeev Nambiar Director of Institutional Programs(The Art of Living) and Prof. (Dr.) Ashok R. Patil vice -Chancellor of NUSRL, signed the agreement.
This collaboration is a significant step towards helping students and faculty tackle life’s challenges and strengthen themselves academically and professionally. Under this partnership, NUSRL students will be offered The Art of Living’s Youth Empowerment and Skills (YES!+) Program.
The program aims to help students enhance life skills such as stress management, concentration, self-confidence, and interpersonal relationships. Key objectives: Managing stress and exam-related anxiety Improving communication, teamwork, and decision-making skills Promoting healthy habits, social responsibility, and global citizenship Enhancing self-awareness, positive outlook, and emotional well-being This partnership also benefits faculty and staff.
A Faculty Development Program (FDP) will be conducted to help teachers with stress management, improving productivity, and building harmonious relationships. Speaking about the partnership, Vice-Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Ashok R. Patil said, “Education is not just about academic excellence; it’s about holistic development and contributing meaningfully to society.
This collaboration with The Art of Living will inspire our students and faculty to adopt better life skills and routines. A better lifestyle leads to success in both personal and professional life.”
