In its General Body (GB) meeting on Monday, the Jharkhand Advocates Association has unanimously decided that all advocates of the Jharkhand High Court would resume participation in judicial proceedings from today (Monday) in the courts of the Chief Justice and two other judges.

The meeting resolved that advocates will now appear as before in the courts of the Chief Justice MS Ramachandra Rao, Justice Sujit Narayan Prasad, and Justice R. Mukhopadhyay. However, protests will continue against the High Court Collegium’s decision not to recommend the names of Jharkhand High Court lawyers for judgeship.

To address this issue, a delegation from the association will visit Delhi and meet with the President, the Chairman of the Bar Council of India, the Union Law Minister, the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, and members of the Collegium.
