Jharkhand’s Finance Minister and Congress leader Radha Krishna Kishore was hospitalised following heart related complications, an official said on Thursday.

Kishore who is holding the post of Finance Minister in the Cabinet of Chief Minister and JMM leader Hemant Doren,was a Member of the Jharkhand Legislative Assembly from the Chhatarpur Assembly constituency from 2005 to 2009 and 2014 to 2014.

Historically, Kishore was associated with the Janata Dal (United) and All Jharkhand Students Union(AUSU) and joined Bharatiya Janata Party in 2019. Later he joined the Congress and won the 2024 Jharkhand Legislative Assembly election from Chhatarpur constituency.

He was admitted to the Orchid Hospital in Ranchi on Wednesday night .His condition is stated to be under observation and expected to remain in hospital for Medicare for some time, it is learnt.

He was admitted to the hospital after he complaint of uneasiness in breathing and he felt dizzy, a close aide of the Finance Minister said.
