Odisha has allotted land to Inox Solar, a subsidiary of Inox Clean Energy, for setting up a large-scale solar cell and module manufacturing plant in Dhenkanal.
The facility will have a capacity of 4.8 GW each for solar cells and solar modules, marking a major step in the state’s efforts to attract green investments and boost industrial growth.
Part of the INOXGFL Group, Inox Solar, plans to invest ₹4,000 crore in the project, which is expected to create over 3,400 jobs and catalyse infrastructure and economic development in the region. The project had earlier received approval from Odisha’s High-Level Clearance Authority (HLCA).
