Jharkhand Chief Secretary Raj Bala Verma was told that the state Health Department had organised 12,105 health camps and treated as many as 8,91,928 patients in the state.

In a review meeting,the CS learnt this in a video conference on Saturday.She directed the state Health Department Civil Surgeons and District Social Welfare Officers to make Auxiliary Nurse Midwife(ANM) accountable for malnutrition immunization.

The CS directed to upload data connected with Mother and Child Tracking System(MCTS) within 7 days.In fact,MCTS is an initiative of Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare to levearge information technology for ensuring delivery of full spectrum of healthcare and immunization services to pregnant women and children upto 5 years of age.

The video conference was addressed among others by Additional Chief Secretary K.Vidyasagar
