New Delhi based Indraprastha Apollo Hospital has gained limelight for successful robotic surgery.
In fact, a 37-year-old woman with a history of recurrent breast cancer was has come out of this hospital after undergoing a less-invasive robotic oncological surgery.
It is one of the first robotic surgery in north India.
PTI report said that the woman had a history of recurrent breast cancer and BRCA gene mutation.
“She had undergone multiple cancer treatments and surgeries since 2017 and was admitted to the Indraprastha Apollo Hospital for a bilateral breast surgery due to her being on high risk of future breast cancer, involving a combination of conventional and robotic-assisted techniques.”
