Not Naxals. This time, lightning hit a senior official of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), who died.

The cause of his death was attributed to electrocution as he was struck by lightning during an anti-Naxalite operation in Jharkhand on Thursday.

Maharambam Prabo Singh, the second-in-command of the 26th Battalion of the CRPF, was part of an operation in Jharkhand's West Singhbhum when he was struck by lightning.

The CRPF has offered tributes to the officer who laid down his life in the line of duty.
