

*Jharkhand’s First Elevated Corridor links Piska More and Kutchery, a 4.1 km long distance, in Ranchi, and is built by the National Highway Authority of India
After a long wait, the construction of Ratu Road Corridor has now been almost completed, and now the Union Minister Road Transport & Highways, Nitin Gadkari, is slated to inaugurate it on June 19.
This information was shared by the BJP Ranchi MP and Union Minister of state for Defence, Sanjay Set,h who met Mr Gadkari in New Delhi today( June 2, 2025)and got his confirmation.
The Ratu Road Elevated Flyover project in Ranchi is a significant urban infrastructure initiative designed to alleviate traffic congestion. The project, planned and executed by the National Highway Authority of India, managed by the Union Ministry Highway, led by Mr Gadkari, is approximately 3.76 km in length. It is expected to improve connectivity and ease traffic flow in the area.

More than 400 LED lights have been installed above and below the Flyover. The ramp work from the ITI Road has also been completed.
This Flyover, about 4.1 km long, has been erected on 105 pillars. The work of installing dividers on both sides has been completed, which are being painted in black and white. 300 workers are working day and night to successfully complete this project.
At present, bulletproof glasses are being installed in an area of 200 meters in front of the Raj Bhavan.
