Nase Ko Na; Jindagi Ko Han( No to Intoxication; Yes to Life). With this slogan inscribed on a banner carrying the image of Chief Minister Hemant Soren, a four-tyre vehicle was parked outside the District Collector's office in Ranchi.

The banner-riding vehicle showcased an anti-liquor campaign launched by the state government across the state of Jharkhand.

In Ranchi, the anti-liquor campaign was flagged off by Manjunath Bhajantri. The campaign has been launched to make the state addiction-free”, he said.

Scores of media persons were present at the site, Block One of the district collectorate in the state capital city.

The Soren government’s move has gained significance since the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on May 21 (May 20, 2025) had arrested senior Jharkhand IAS officer Vinay Kumar Choubey in a money laundering case linked to the alleged excise scam in the state.
