With the theme -Yoga for One Earth, One Health - the 11th International Yoga Day, the Jharkhand High Court is slated to organise a mega yoga event at Jharkhand Civil Services Officers Institute Campus, Dindayal Nagar, Morahabadi area, Ranchi on Saturday(June 21).
Manoj Prasad, Registrar General of the High Court of Jharkhand, has in his letter dated June 12, 2025, has informed that “ Honourable High Court is going to organise yoga event …”
Inorder to make this event a grand success, a prominent yog guru, Pramod Kumar Singh alias Sanyasi Muktarath, along with one trained Instructor, were engaged by the High Court “to look after the event”.

As per the plan, the yoga event is expected to be attended by Honourable judges and judicial officers and they will be guided by Sanyasi Muktarath for an hour between 6.30 am and 7.30 am.
“ We wait for the day to arrive for one year. This year, we have also practiced and trained students of DAV schools”, said Sanyasi Muktarath.
Alongside, the Jharkhand govt, Central Public Sector Undertakings, schools, and varsities are all set to mark the International Day of Yoga on Saturday.
The state department of health, medical education, and family welfare will hold a mass yoga camp at the Birsa Munda Fun Park at East Jail Road on Friday. The Ranchi Municipal Corporation (RMC) will also organise a yoga camp in collaboration with Ramakrishna Mission at the Vivekananda Sarovar (Bada Talab).
PSUs such as Central Coalfields Limited, SAIL RDCIS and Mecon Limited are also expected to host yoga sessions to mark the occasion. Yoga instructors from the Art of Living Foundation held yoga camps inside the Birsa Munda Central Jail campus on Thursday. Men and women inmates were taught basic yogasanas at their respective wards.
The first edition of the International Day of Yoga ceremony was celebrated in Ranchi’s Prabhat Tara Ground in 2015. PM Narendra Modi had taken part in the programme and performed yogasanas along with the then CM Raghubar Das.
