Jharkhand Mukti Morcha founder and MP, Shibu Soren, who was admitted to Gangaram Hospital in New Delhi, has suffered a brain stroke.

His condition is reportedly ‘critical’ and is on support of a ventilator in the ICU. But his vitals are stable. He is under observation, it is learnt.

Scores of his followers were praying for his speedy recovery.81-year-old Shibu Soren, who is fondly called “ Guruji” and “ Dishom Guru”, has been suffering from diabetes, kidney ailment, and has undergone Dialysis. 

Also, he underwent bypass surgery. The stroke on the left side of his brain added to the seriousness of his health.

According to reports, the icon of Jharkhand politics is in a state of coma-consciousness that is similar to deep sleep.

The Gangaram hospital’s top doctors from neurosurgery, emergency medicine, and endocrinology departments were keeping a close eye on his condition.

President Droupadi Murmu on Thursday had visited Sir Ganga Ram Hospital and enquired about his health.

The veteran leader Shibu Soren’s son, Chief Minister Hemant Soren, and other family members, including his daughter-in-law Kalpana Soren, MLA were present there and looking after his health condition and ongoing treatment.
