With Union Minister Nitin Gadkari inaugurating it, Ranchi got its dream fulfilled of having a four-lane flyover linking Naga Baba Ghatal( Near the Raj Bhawan) and Piska more and OTC ground.

On the inaugural day, the traffic jams in the area was reduced and it turned out to be a blessing for regular commuters.

The 4.18-km king elevated corridor was built at Rs 558 crore.

The construction of the flyover started in November 2022.

Notably, the people of Ranchi were eagerly waiting for this flyover, as it was their dream to get rid of the perennial traffic jam in the area.

Another noteworthy event took place alongside today when Gadkari also inaugurated the Garhwa-Rehla four-lane bypass.

In a first for Ranchi, the particular flyover is being equipped with Rs 8cr worth of noise barrier-cum-view cutters to absorb up to 95% of traffic noise.
