

Preparations are going on to welcome President Droupadi Murmu in Deoghar. In this holy month of Shrawan beginning July 11 to conclude on August 16, millions of Hindus worship Lord Shiva.
President Murmu has paid obeisance at the Baba Baidyanath temples a couple of times in the past. Each time during her visit, entry of devotees was barred from 6 a.m. to 10.30 a.m.The scene is expected to be repeated on the day of her visit on the last day of July 2025.
Jharkhand’s Deoghar, primarily known for Baidyanath Temple, one of the 12 Jyotirlingas of Shiva, has plunged into festivity.
The state administration is working round the clock to maintain law and order for the safety and devotion of devotees.
Against this backdrop, the forthcoming visit of the President Droupadi Murmu has gained significance.She is scheduled to visit Jharkhand on July 31, according to official information received by the state government from Rashtrapati Bhavan.
During her visit, she will offer prayers at the Baba Baidyanath Temple in Deoghar on August 1 and then attend the convocation ceremony of AIIMS Deoghar as the chief guest.

Following the event, the President will depart for her next destination.
Administrative steps have already been taken with a particular focus on security and logistics in Deoghar.
Authorities are coordinating closely to ensure that all arrangements are in place for her smooth arrival and participation.
President Murmu shares a deep bond with Jharkhand, having previously served as the Governor of the state. Her upcoming visit has generated enthusiasm among the people, who regard her as a figure of pride and inspiration.
