

Jharkhand Police want people to provide them information about the wanted law offenders. This became apparent from the police headquarters released a list of 87 notorious criminals from 18 districts across the state.
The top brass of the police believe that there were at least ten gangs that were operating from Jharkhand- Bihar.
All of them were accused facing charges of serious crimes such as murder, robbery, and extortion.
The police top brass have appealed to the public to come forward with any information related to these criminals, assuring that the identity of informants will be kept strictly confidential.
The list includes criminals from districts such as Hazaribagh, Ranchi, Latehar, Deoghar, Jamshedpur, Seraikela, Chaibasa, Bokaro, Gumla, Giridih, Koderma, Khunti, Palamu, Garhwa, Jamtara, Lohardaga, and Dumka. It also includes offenders from neighboring states including Bihar and West Bengal and Haryana.
The district-wise names include Jamshedpur: Ranjan Mishra, Suraj Singh, Anwar Ali, Arun Singh, Rohit Chand, Md. Imran; Chaibasa: Gulshan Biruli, Dev Kumar Biruli, Md. Tabrez, Daniel Paul, Vijay Biruli, Sikandar Jamuda, and others; Seraikela: Md. Afroz, Suraj Kotwal, Manoj Giri, Shankar Tanti, Ajit Pradhan; Ranchi: Lakhan Singh, Mazhar Ansari, Ravi Ritesh Nag, Abhishek Tirkey, Shahzad, Shahwaz Malik; Lohardaga: Alok Bhagat, Ashish Oraon; Latehar: Asha Kachhap, Dilip Oraon, Lakho Bhuiyan; Deoghar: Gaurav Khabare, Shibu Mishra, Ankit Joshi, and others; Koderma: Mahavir Yadav; Jamtara: Kishore Mandal; Dumka: Karu; Hazaribagh: Umesh Das, Mahavir Ravidas, Guddu Bhuiyan, and several more; Garhwa: Santosh Pandey, Bharat Prasad Sah; Palamu: Kamlesh Singh, Changez Khan; Khunti: Keshav Kumar; Giridih: Inder Mandal, Ashok Verma; Gumla: Shoaib Mirdha, Karma Oraon, Manoj Oraon and from Bokaro: Raju Munda, Vinod Singh, Ratan Tanti.
The Jharkhand police has named criminals from other states who include Bihar: Raju Yadav, Romit Kumar Amit Das, Ajit Das, Dharmendra Yadav, Rohit Kumar; Haryana: Mohd. Arif, West Bengal: W Sheikh, Deep Gwala, Deep Yadav and Faridabad: Arshad Ali.
Yet, the organized crime network remained a persisting problem. Despite the crackdown on crime, 10 major organized criminal gangs remained active in nine districts namely Ranchi, Hazaribagh, Palamu, Ramgarh, Chatra, Latehar, Garhwa, Dhanbad, and East Singhbhum (Jamshedpur). These gangs comprised around 633 members and continued to pose a significant threat. However, the Jharkhand Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) had reportedly succeeded in reducing the scale of organized crime in the state through recent strategic operations.
