Ranchi: The National University of Study and Research in Law (NUSRL), Ranchi, is set to welcome its incoming batch of students. 

The Orientation Programme will be held on 2nd August 2025 at the Plenary Hall, NUSRL campus.

The event will be graced by  Mr. Justice Tarlok Singh Chauhan, Chief Justice, Jharkhand High Court & Chancellor of NUSRL, as the Chief Guest. 

Other esteemed dignitaries include Hon’ble Mr. Justice Sujit Narayan Prasad, Judge, Jharkhand High Court; Ms. Alka Tiwari (IAS), Chief Secretary, Government of Jharkhand; Mr. Rajiv Ranjan, Advocate General, Jharkhand; and Mr. Nilendu Kumar Singh, CMD, Central Coalfields Limited.

*This year, the university has admitted:*
• 134 students in B.A., LL.B. (Hons.)
• 67 students in B.B.A., LL.B. (Hons.)
• 67 students in LL.M.

• Guard of Honour, Lighting of the Lamp, and Anthem
• Inspiring addresses by distinguished guests
• A special session by Prof. (Dr.) Ashok R. Patil, Vice-Chancellor, highlighting the university’s five-year journey
• Orientation on academics, anti-ragging policies, hostel rules, library, moot court, and placement cell

The event will conclude with the National Anthem at 11:00 AM, followed by a special session for newly admitted students.
