For the year 2017, Prof. Gopinath R of Bengaluru was conferred Yashwantrao Kelkar Award by the Chief Minister Raghubar Das. Gopinath R. was instrumental in establishing 'Sparsh Trust' which has so far taken care of 400 deprived children in Jharkhand.
