Ranchi based  PSU Heavy Engineering Corporation suffered a setback today when the Jharkhand High Court dismissed its petition seeking authority to collect 'Holding Tax' being collected by the Ranchi Municipal Corporation. In its petition, the HEC had moved the court pleading to reject RMC's decision to collect 'increased' holding tax as per its 2013 rules. Now, the RMC has authority to collect it.
