Clouds, Lighting, Rains Bring Cheers Among Farmers,Kanwariyas

Rains followed by lighting lashed Ranchi and adjoining areas of Jamshedpur, Hazaribagh and Lohardaga in Jharkhand today.

Since there have been dry days during the past one month, dark clouds in the sky and rains were cheered by many people in Ranchi and Deoghar. Smile and laughter were visible among farmers and Kanwariyas, Shiva devotees who pour water over the God Shiva in temples during the Shravani month(July-August).  

However, due to choked drains and potholed roads, the water failed to flow causing untold miseries to people, especially young and old men and women who resided in low lying areas of the Ranchi city.
     
As per Met Department, light and medium rains are going to lash almost all parts of the state including Kolhan division and Simdega in coming three days till Saturday. Heavy rains can take place in some of these places, said the Met information.

The minimum temperature in Ranchi is expected to remain 24 degree Celsius
