Responding to a PIL, Jharkhand High Court has directed officials to contain sound pollution in the state capital. Senior officials including Ranchi SSP, SDO and Member of Pollution Control Board who were present in the court are learnt to have promised to issue a notification to control sound pollution in Ranchi.
