Efforts to form Mahagathbhandan are on. Toward this end, the Congress state unit president Rameshwar Oraon, who is already connected with JMM, met JVM chief Babulal Marandi on Monday. Though the outcome of the meeting was not known, Babulal had refused to accept the leadership of JMM and ex-CM Hemant Soren. Since nobody had talked to him, Marandi had declared to contest all 81 Assembly seats in Jharkhand.
