Is he superhuman or carries the blessings of Goddess Durga? Nobody can answer it scientifically. However, his faith in Her can not be questioned because he has been worshipping Goddess Durga/ Kali at Deori temple situated on the main Ranchi-Jamshedpur highway, a little distance from Ranchi, for long.

After he started visiting Deori Mandir, devotees' numbers had swelled up. At this temple where goats were sacrificed so much that the footpath linking entry and sanctum- sanctorum remain flooded with blood.

Dhoni believed in the power of the Goddess. No wonder he worshiped Her regularly. “ He is empowered by Goddess”, said the Pundit of Deori temple.
