Faced with the danger of fast-spreading Coronavirus, the leaves and holidays for Ranchi based and Jharkhand government-run RIMS hospital's doctors, nurses and staff were cancelled.

However, in a special circumstance, they were allowed to file an application for leave. A testing center was set up at RIMS. After collecting samples there, these samples are supposed to be sent to Jamshedpur based MGM hospital for the test report.

A plan is afoot to develop a test center at RIMS too.
