On the occasion of World Deworming Day, on 8th February, 2018 the Students of Delhi Public School, Ranchi were updated about parasitic worms, its impact on children, worm transmission cycle, the direct and indirect benefits of deworming and the importance of hygiene and health.
On this day, all the students were also given deworming tablets.
Dr. Ram Singh the Principal of DPS Ranchi said that World Deworming Day is the one of the largest single-day public health initiatives in the world.
