Two among 20 Indian soldiers who were martyred in the violent face-off with troops of China's People's Liberation Army in Galwan valley, eastern Ladakh on Monday-Tuesday night, hailed from Jharkhand.

They were Kundan Kumar Ojha(28), Dehari village, Sahebgunj and Ganesh Hansda(26), Bansda village, East Singhbhum. Both were constables of the Bihar Regiment.

Ojha, whose father hailed from Paharpur village under Bihia police station area of Bihar's Bhojpur district, lived in Sahebgunj. He who was blessed with his first son a week back failed to see him. Hansda, younger son Mr. and Mrs. Kapra Hansda, was unmarried.   
 
Shocks and grief have gripped their family members. Even Chief Minister Hemant Soren, Union Minister Arjun Munda, BJP leader and Ex CM Babulal Marandi have condoled their death.
