In view that global epidemics like COVID19 or any other doesn't disrupt the education of the children of Jharkhand, the Jharkhand Digi School mobile application started by the Department of School Education and Literacy under the guidance of Chief Minister Mr Hemant Soren is now proving helpful for the students studying across 45,000 schools in the state.

Work has started in the direction of providing quality education to about 75 lakh children as per the demand of the times. Till now, more than 07 lakh children have registered for the Jharkhand Digi School mobile application to avail facility of quality education.


*What is DG app- How to download*

The benefits of the Jharkhand DG School App is available for students studying in government, government-aided and private schools registered in U-DICE.

To download the app, one can go to Google Play Store and install the Jharkhand DigiSchool App from there. After accessing the app, Students can register themselves by providing relevant information on the login window. In the process, students have to enter their district, block, school, class, name and mobile number.

After this, one can log in to the app by entering the mobile number. As soon as you log in, Content of the day, Quiz of the day and other course content will appear on the screen. Subject-wise study materials are also available for the students.

One can also check details related to their profile by clicking on the drop-down menu button available on the left portion of the app. All personal details can be updated by clicking on My Profile. Apart from this, one can also change the language of study in the app.

The app has been integrated with YouTube video tutorials, which can be utilised for more clarity on the subject. Students will also be able to record their responses or doubts while watching the video.

The app has been designed in such a manner that one can also map out their learning outcome through the app.

Model question papers have been made available for the students appearing for matriculation and intermediate exams. Also, before the launch of the Digi app, the department has distributed free books among the students. In this way, the education of children from standard one to twelve is running smoothly without any trouble.
