Vrindavan gets a Bed & Breakfast set up

A Bed & Breakfast Homestay facility has come up at Kosi Kalan near
Vrindavan.

This place is located on National Highway 2, the exact
mid-point between Delhi and Agra. Delhi, Agra and Fatehpur
Sikri are all three hours drive each. North India’s biggest, oldest
and most popular Shani temple at Kokilavan is half-an-hour drive.

It is very close to Vrindavan and Nandgaon.  Barsana, Gokul, Govardhan
and Mathura are nearby attractions. Location-wise it is near these
religious centres, yet away from the maddening crowd of such tourist
places.

This homestay is inside a developed resort that has two restaurants
(North Indian & South Indian), a provision store, club, swimming pool,
gift shop, children’s park and gardens. The resort is surrounded by
farmland on two sides. There’s 24-hour water supply, 24-hour power
backup and 24-hour security.

The accommodation provided there is independent, and yet
within our home – a studio apartment with attached bath (
towel, soap and toothpaste), small kitchen, a sit-out, covered veranda
with front lawn. It guarantees  privacy of a quiet holiday and
safety of being close to the host family. The room is next to the
drawing-dining area of the house. It is furnished with a double-bed
(with mattress, pillow and bed linen), cupboard, mirror, chairs,
multi-purpose tables, small refrigerator, water purifier and a room
cooler.

Parking space is available just outside the house.

The vehicle for shight seeing can be arranged as per your requirement. Need
to inform us a day in advance. Normally, the local vehicle provider
charges Rs 2,000 for a day trip covering Mathura, Vrindavan and other places.

The two-day-two-night package on twin sharing basis is Rs 6,000. It
includes room rent for two days, breakfast, one other meal (lunch or
dinner) on both the days, besides soft drink, tea & coffee.

From Badarpur border take the national
highway; keep going straight and cross Faridabad, Ballabhgarh, Palwal,
Hodal (all in Haryana) to hit the first Uttar Pradesh town on the
highway, Kosi Kalan. Keep going straight, cross the main chowk and a
flyover; you will now spot a kos minar on your left, in the next five
minutes your vehicle will be in front of the resort’s gates.
(Landmark: Sagar Ratna).

If  a visitor starts early morning, the distance between Delhi and Kosi Kalan
can be comfortably covered in less than three hours. We would you
advice you to travel early morning to avoid traffic and also, there
are badly-lit stretches on the highway.

Distance: Delhi (Badarpur metro station/ border): 106 km; Delhi
(Domestic airport): around 135 km.

Notably, all important spots of Braj can be covered within two days.
These include – Janmabhumi temple, Government Museum and Vishram ghat
in Mathura; Banke Bihari, Madan Mohan, Govind Dev, ISKCON, Rangaji,
Nidhi Van, Sewa Kunj, Brahmakund in Vrindavan, Goverdhan Parikrama,
Nandgaon temple, Shani temple at Kokilavan and Ladliji temple, Man Mandir at
Barsana.
