Accused of murder undergoing imprisonment, Raja Peter is going to contest Assembly poll from his old constituency-Tamar.

On Wednesday, Nawnit Kumar, Judicial Commissioner, Special Court of National Investigating Agency(NIA), responding to his petition filed on Tuesday, permitted him to file nomination papers from inside the jail.  

In Tamar, Jharkhand Party ex MLA Peter, who is in jail facing the charge of murdering ex-Minister Ramesh Singh Munda, had once defeated JMM supremo Shibu Soren. As of now, it is not clear from which party symbol he will contest the poll from Tamar.
