Santosh Kumar Suman, son of Hindustani Awam Morcha( HAM) chief and former Bihar CM Jitan Ram Manjhi, appears to have fired a missile on CM Nitish Kumar by resigning from his cabinet today.

Suman has accused Nitish Kumar of “pressurizing” his father to merge HAM with JD(U), a party led by Nitish Kumar.

“The existence of my party( HAM)was under threat…I did this( tender resignation) to protect it…”, Suman told media in Patna after his resignation.

Reacting to Suman’s resignation,a leader of Mahagatbhandhan opined that it won’t make any impact on the government-led Nitish Kumar since JAM comprises “ only” four MLAs in the Bihar Assembly.

However, a neutral observer thinks that Suman’s resignation is a sign of a silent wave going on against Bihar CM Nitish on his recent steps to leave NDA and re-join hands with RJD led by Ex CM Lalu Yadav's family.
