If Mumbai’s lady cop’s case is of any meaning,it is this:don’t leave your gun outside the loo.

As it is,gun or revolver is given to the cops to maintain law and order.It has to be handled carefully.But a woman police officer lost her service revolver when she went to answer nature’s call.

Sub-Inspector Ranjana Salunkhe, Juhu police station,was deployed at Juhu beach for the Ganpati visarjan.She visited the restroom to attend to the nature’s call at the beach near Tulip Hotel and left her gun outside its window ledge.

When she relieved her self and came out of the loo,she found that her revolver was missing.She began searching for it,but in vain.

Later,after she informed the Santacruz police,a case of theft under Section 380 of the Indian Penal Code was registered on Saturday.Though the police have questioned more than two dozen persons,it remains clueless about her revolver.
