He is another Jharkhand’s star in the making in archery. Anuj Kumar Gupta will represent Jharkhand in the Khelo India NTPC East Zone Open Archery Tournament scheduled from September 12 to 14, 2025 at Patliputra Sports Complex, Patna, Bihar.

Anuj Kumar Gupta, s/o Ashok Kumar Gupta from Bijupara Chanho, was selected in the trial. He is currently serving in the India Arny’s 3 Bihar Unit.

In the selection trial for the  Khelo India NTPC East Zone Open Archery Tournament (Men & Women) for Recurve and Compound categories, he scaled and was selected on September 6, 2025, at Shooting Range – 3, Hotwar, Ranchi, Jharkhand.

Anuj Kumar Gupta hails from Biju Para, Chanho block in Ranchi district. He will be the centre of attraction at Patliputra Sports Complex, Patna, Bihar, on September 12 to 14, 2025.
