Fliers from three states - West Bengal, Bihar and Jharkhand- have a reason to benefit. Indigo Airlines is scheduled to kick start a new flight from Ranchi to Purnia via Kolkata.

As per Indigo,its flights will take off from September 17 and is planned to run the flight service for three days in a week- Monday, Wednesday and Friday. 

By the way, Indigo has introduced this air service on a trial basis.If the passengers opt for it, Indigo can make the service operational. 

If Indigo’s schedule is decided, the flight will leave Ranchi at 7.40 am for Kolkata and then continue to Purnia, reaching there at 1.40 pm. 

On the same day, the flight will return from Purnia at 2.30 pm, go to Kolkata and then reach Ranchi by 8.45 pm. This means passengers will be able to make a same-day round trip if needed, which will help business travellers and those with urgent work.
