Jharkhand Development Commissioner cum Additional Chief Secretary,Finance,Amit Khare on Friday directed Deputy Commissioners of all districts that in case the meeting of the 20 Point Programme was not already convened,hold it after taking time from the Minister -in-Charge.

A directive toward this end was issued on March 23.The President of the District Planning Committee will preside over the 20 Point Programme Committee meeting,states the order issued vide notification number 876 on May 19,2016.

In the 20 Point Programme Committee meeting, the 20 point programme schemes sponsored by the Union government and important schemes run by the state government such as water conservation project (Dobha construction,building of ponds and their upgradation),welfare projects(scholarship,pension,insurance and food security scherme),agriculture and rural products(seed/furtilizer,single window implementation and agriculture pump set),should be reviewed,directed Khare.

In addition,the 20 Point Programme Committee meeting should review projects including Skill India Mission,Make in India,Start-up India,Digital India,Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Beema Yojna,Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojna,Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojna,Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchai Yojna,Pradhan Mantri Gramin Sadak Yojna,Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sichai Yojna,Deen Dayal Upadhahaya Gramin Jyoti Yojna,Swachch Bharat Mission and Namami Ganga projects.

This can make the state become a model among the states in the country,opined Khare.
