Wake Up India Foundation successfully organised the  Cleanliness Drive at Dhurwa Dam Ranchi on January 18, 2026, with active participation from student volunteers and members of the local community.

The initiative was undertaken with the objective of promoting environmental responsibility, civic awareness, and the importance of maintaining cleanliness in public spaces. The drive witnessed enthusiastic involvement from volunteers who worked systematically to collect and segregate waste from the surrounding areas of the dam.

To ensure efficiency and safety, proper cleaning tools, safety equipment, and transportation arrangements were provided for the collection and safe disposal of waste. The coordinated efforts resulted in a noticeable improvement in the cleanliness of the area.

The activity also served as an awareness initiative, educating participants and visitors about responsible waste management practices and the need for environmental protection. The programme concluded with a strong message urging citizens to adopt cleanliness as a daily habit and to actively contribute towards building a healthier, cleaner, and more responsible society.

Wake Up India Foundation reaffirmed its commitment to continuing such initiatives aimed at community development and environmental sustainability. We sincerely thank the Ranchi municipal corporation for their assistance in proper waste disposal.
