National University of Study and Research in Law (NUSRL), Ranchi, celebrated its 17th Foundation Day in grandeur on April 25, 2026 in the benign presence of Mr. Justice Ahsanuddin Amanullah, Judge of the Supreme Court of India, who attended the event as the Chief Guest.
The event was also be graced by distinguished guests, including Mr. Justice Mahesh Sharadchandra Sonak, Chief Justice of the Jharkhand High Court cum Chancellor NUSRL, Mr. Justice Sujit Narayan Prasad, Judge of the Jharkhand High Court and Rajiv Ranjan, Advocate General of Jharkhand.
The Event commenced at 10:30 AM at the University’s Plenary Hall. It began with a Guard of Honour, followed by plantation, traditional Welcome of guests, and the ceremonial lighting of the lamp. The University Anthem will be presented during this occasion.
All the students who have achieved excellence at national and international levels were honoured during the event. All Faculty members and administrative staff who have completed 10 years of service at the University were felicitated.
This was followed by cultural performance symbolising the celebrations of the legacy of the institution.Under “Avirbhav 2026,”,the University Fest of NUSRL, awards and scholarships was distributed by the dignitaries.
The event marked a feature with an address by Mr. Justice Mahesh Sharadchandra Sonak and the keynote speech delivered by Mr. Justice Ahsanuddin Amanullah.
The Foundation Day celebration reflects the University’s continued commitment to academic excellence, legal research, and holistic development.
