Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi today( May 11, 2026) shared a photo of the Somnath Temple taken on board the flight while on his way from Somnath to Vadodara.

The Prime Minister Modi noted that on the shores of Prabhas Patan, the Somnath Temple stands tall as a radiant symbol of devotion, history, and civilisational spirit. 

Shri Modi highlighted that the eternal temple has outlasted barbaric attacks, invasions, and the passage of centuries.

The Prime Minister further stated that Somnath gives every Indian strength, courage, and hope.

In a series of posts on X, the Prime Minister wrote:
