Public Sector Oil Marketing Companies - IndianOil, BPCL and HPCL continue to maintain uninterrupted supplies of Petrol (MS), Diesel (HSD) and Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) across Jharkhand State, despite the prevailing global uncertainties impacting the Oil and Gas sector.

The Oil Industry remains fully geared to ensure seamless availability of fuels through its extensive supply network comprising terminals, depots, LPG bottling plants and retail outlets. Fuel dispensing operations are continuing smoothly across all outlets and supplies are being maintained without any restrictions, in line with prescribed safety and operational norms.

Adequate stocks of petroleum products are available across the supply chain and replenishment is being carried out continuously to meet genuine consumer demand efficiently.

The State has 2084 Retail Outlets (OMCs: 1981 & Pvt: 103) and 5 supply locations (OMCs). Every day, around 3500 KL of Petrol (MS) and 6600 KL Diesel (HSD) are made available.

LPG supplies to domestic consumers are also being maintained normally and deliveries are progressing smoothly across the State through around 593 LPG distributorships of OMCs. The present backlog in the State is around 4.4 days. LPG Consumers are advised to complete the eKYC for the continuation of the subsidy amount to PMUY / PAHAL customers.

The Public Sector Oil Marketing Companies are closely coordinating on logistics, stock positioning and distribution planning to ensure uninterrupted energy access to citizens. The overall supply situation remains stable and under constant monitoring.

Citizens are requested to continue with normal purchasing behaviour and avoid unnecessary panic buying. The public is also advised to rely only on official communications issued by Oil Marketing Companies for authentic and verified information related to fuel availability.
