Keeping in view the severe heat and continuously rising temperatures, South East Central Railway has effectively operationalised water misting systems at major stations to provide relief to passengers. 

As in previous years, the Railway Administration has ensured this special arrangement during the summer season for the convenience of passengers.

Misting systems installed at the platforms of Bilaspur, Raipur, Durg, Rajnandgaon and Gondia stations are spraying fine water droplets to help reduce the ambient temperature around the platforms. 

This arrangement is providing considerable relief from heat and humidity to passengers waiting for trains.

The facility is proving especially beneficial during afternoon hours when temperatures rise significantly. Continuous operation of water misting systems at platforms is helping maintain a relatively cooler environment, thereby making the waiting experience more comfortable for passengers.

Giving highest priority to passenger convenience, South East Central Railway is continuously ensuring effective implementation of such passenger-friendly arrangements during the summer season so that passengers can have a safe and comfortable travel experience
