Investigation revealed that Jharkhand stands far below in the list of all States and UTs that were registered users of the Centre’s Digital Infrastructure for Knowledge Sharing (DIKSHA).

DIKSHA, an open-source platform, provides easy access to high-quality, curriculum-linked digital learning materials in multiple languages to students and teachers across the country.

The platform offers a state-of-the-art learning ecosystem built around the following tools and capabilities for users. But, due to a lack of information and publicity about DIKSHA in Jharkhand, the registered users of DIKSHA were far below neighbouring states of Bihar, West Bengal, Odisha and Chhattisgarh.

However, the registered users of DIKSHA in Jharkhand were ahead of Lakshadweep,

Assam, Telangana, Jammu and Kashmir, Uttarakhand and Kerala( See the number of registered users of DIKSHS enlisted below).

As it is, more than 614 Virtual Laboratories have been created and made available to promote critical thinking and student creativity across the country under the DIKSHA platform.

As many as 50 faculty members from State Councils and District Institutes were trained to develop professional development courses for teachers.
The teacher courses are delivered through the Learning Management System (LMS) that is integrated within the digital learning platform. Advancing Education at Scale: Key Statistics (as on 27 June, 2026)
