The National University of Study and Research in Law (NUSRL), Ranchi, has introduced four new Post Graduate Diploma (PG Diploma) programmes for the Academic Session 2026–27.
The programmes have been designed to equip students, working professionals, academicians, and practitioners with specialized legal knowledge and practical expertise in emerging areas of law.
Keeping in view Jharkhand's vast mineral resources and the growing importance of legal and regulatory frameworks governing the mining sector, the University has launched a specialized PG Diploma in Mines & Minerals Laws.
In addition, NUSRL has also introduced PG Diploma programmes in Intellectual Property Rights, Child Rights & Child Protection, and Corporate Law. These programmes have been carefully designed to address contemporary legal challenges, policy developments, and the evolving needs of industry and society.
Graduates from any recognized university, irrespective of their academic discipline, are eligible to apply for these programmes.

Admissions will be based strictly on merit, and the number of seats on each programme is limited.
To facilitate the participation of working professionals, classes will be conducted on weekends and holidays, enabling candidates to pursue higher education without interrupting their professional commitments.
The Course fee has been fixed at 35,000, while the application fee is 500. The last date for submission of applications is July 30, 2026. The merit list will be published on August 2, 2026, and classes will commence from August 10, 2026. Interested candidates may apply online through the official website of NUSRL Ranchi.
