To commemorate the successful completion of 5 years of co-operative excellence and the ongoing National Co-operative Week, the National Cooperative Consumers' Federation of India (NCCF) organised a mega plantation drive on the premises of the Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS), Ranchi, capital city of Jharkhand. 

 

The initiative aimed to reinforce environmental sustainability and strengthen the connection between nature and public health.
 

The event was led and attended by senior administrative officials, eminent medical professionals, and students from RIMS, including:

Alongside RIMS officials, MBBS students and NCCF representatives participated in planting a variety of medicinal and ornamental saplings across the institutional campus.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Prince Kumar, Branch Manager of NCCF, stated, "This year marks a significant milestone as we celebrate 5 successful years of our co-operative journey. 

 

Organizing this plantation drive at a premier healthcare institution like RIMS during National Co-operative Week perfectly reflects the core co-operative philosophy of 'collective growth and community welfare.'"
 

The Dean of RIMS commended NCCF's environmental initiative, emphasizing that integrating medicinal plants into hospital ecosystems aligns with traditional healthcare values and fosters a healing environment.

NCCF representatives expressed gratitude to the RIMS management and medical fraternity for their cooperation, reaffirming the organization's long-term commitment to sustainable development and social responsibility. 

The event concluded with a collective pledge by all participants to ensure the sustained care and preservation of the newly planted saplings.
