Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren on behalf of his government, has unveiled a draft AI roadmap, proposing a State AI Mission, and showcasing the upcoming Ranchi IT Park to tech investors.

Soren did so in New Delhi during the inaugural session of the a two-day National Stakeholders Consultation 2026 being held at the Taj Palace, New Delhi.

The summit, running from July 8 to July 9, aims to unveil the state's ambitious "Jharkhand Vision 2050" and position Jharkhand as a premier investment destination for AI, IT, and tourism.

During the inaugural event, Chief Minister Soren presided over discussions focused on digital governance, drafting a new AI policy, and accelerating technological and industrial growth to generate new employment opportunities ETV Bharat.

The consultation has brought together a couple of global investors, policymakers, and industry leaders.

Top officials of the state government including the Development Commissioner Ajay Kumar Singh and Chief Secretary Avinash Kumar shared the dias with CM Soren.

The Soren government is unveiling its draft AI roadmap, proposing a State AI Mission, and showcasing the upcoming Ranchi IT Park to tech investors.

Draft frameworks for the new Industrial & Investment Promotion Policy, Tourism Policy, Textile Policy, and PPP initiatives are being presented for stakeholder feedback.

The state government has allocated land to build five star hotel, a part of the government's major tourism and infrastructure push.

This follows a previous ₹400 crore pact with the Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) to build a 200-room luxury Taj hotel in the Dhurwa area of Ranchi.
