Reinforcing its commitment to sustainable community development and public convenience, NTPC North Karanpura Super Thermal Power Station (NKSTPP) signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with the District Administration, Chatra for providing two battery-operated e-carts at the newly inaugurated Eco Park in Chatra.

The MoA was signed in the august presence of Shri Ravi Anand, IAS, Deputy Commissioner, Chatra, and Shri Neeraj Roy, AGM (HR), NTPC North Karanpura.

The agreement was formally executed by Shri Manoj Toppo, District Mining Officer (DMO), Chatra, on behalf of the District Administration and Shri Nikhil Gupta, DGM (HR), NTPC North Karanpura, representing NTPC.

As part of the agreement, NTPC North Karanpura will provide financial assistance of ₹13 lakh for the procurement of two e-carts. The initiative aims to facilitate convenient mobility within the Eco Park, particularly for senior citizens, children, and differently abled visitors, thereby enhancing the overall visitor experience.

The initiative has been undertaken under NTPC North Karanpura's Community Development programme, reflecting the organization's continued efforts to create sustainable public infrastructure and improve the quality of life in the surrounding region.

Officers from the HR and R&R/CSR departments of NTPC North Karanpura, along with officials from the District Administration, were also present during the MoA signing ceremony.
