In the newly announced national team under Bharatiya Janata Party president Nitin Nabin today ( August 17, 2026), prominent tribal leader and Lok Sabha MP Gajendra Patel has been appointed as a National General Secretary.

Additionally, tribal leader Bharti Pravin Pawar has been named a National Vice-President.

Gajendra Patel, who is going to represent the BJP as National General Secretary, represents strong tribal outreach from Madhya Pradesh.

Similarly, Bharti Pravin Pawar, who has been appointed as National Vice-President, represents the tribal community from Maharashtra.

Both of them are going to be the core national office-bearer lineup.
