Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Krishna Kumar, who was injured in Jamshedpur during a late-night stone-pelting incident, while responding to a loud DJ complaint in Babudih under the Sidhgora police station area, received primary treatment at MGM Hospital and is currently in stable condition.

Reports claimed that he got hospitalised after a police team, responding to a loud DJ noise complaint in the Babudih area under the Sidhgora police station limits in Jamshedpur was, attacked with stones and bricks.

The incident took place on late Wednesday night, leaving this ASI injured and a police vehicle vandalised.

Investigation revealed that a Dial-112 complaint reported high-volume DJ music and dancing late at night.

When police arrived to stop the music, a crowd grew hostile, argued with officers, and began pelting the team with stones.

ASI Krishna Kumar was injured, and a police vehicle suffered damage during the stone-throwing.

Additional security forces have been deployed in the area to maintain law and order while investigations continue.
