Trisha Singh, daughter of Jharkhand Rural Development Minister Deepika Pandey Singh, was killed in a collision between her car and a truck on the Ranchi-Jamshedpur highway in the intervening night of Wednesday- Thursday.

Janshedpur DY.SP Manoj Thakur informed that the collision between the car and truck took place near Domhani Marin Drive under Sonari police station jurisdiction area at 2-3 am. They comprised two boys and two girls. The car was badly damaged; a picture is enclosed with this report.

“ After cutting the car with a gas cutter, four bodies were recovered”, said Dy.SP Thakur.

Police said, due to a ‘ technical’ fault, the truck stood in the middle of the highway. Since there was no indicator showing the standstill truck was covered by a branch of wood carrying green leaves, the car hit it.

In this accident, Trisha Singh, among four people, died. The Police informed that say it happened near South Cody Road and West Canal Shore Drive around 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
