In a meeting with officials of the Reserve Bank of India,Securities and Exchange Board of India(SEBI),CID,Registrar of Companies and National Housing Board,Jharkhand Chief Secretary Raj Bala Verma today directed them to identify bogus non-banking companies and take appropriate action against them.

Also,the CS directed the CID officers to review the pending cases and take action against the accused quickly.

The villagers have to be made aware of the Chit fund companies and an online portal is going to be launched to deal with fraudulent activities,said the CS.”To get the non- banking financial companies’ cases disposed off,the court has to be named.”

In the meeting,the CS observed that in view of the serious nature of the cases,identify the culprits representing these non- banking companies who were out to defraud the simple people.

The CS said:”The data have to be collected and at the district level,the Deputy Commissioner in league with officers of the RBI,SEBI,CID,Registrar of Companies,national Housing Board get these data verified inorder to prevent fraud and help people not get defrauded by the cheaters.”

The meeting was held to deal with issues connected with fraud committed by non- banking financial companies in Jharkhand.
